This section concerns the definition of the procedure for establishing and operating catering businesses.

GENERAL DIAGRAM FLOW PROCEDURE NOTIFICATION

A. BUILDING INSPECTION

Building legality check. Buildings housing Y.E. stores must meet the specifications for such premises and be licensed by the competent authorities for use as K.Y.E.
Control specifications Health requirements. Depending on the intended use, the space must be inspected and configured to meet the requirements of the Health Service.

B. PRIOR TO THE GRANTING OF AN INSTALLATION CERTIFICATE

Application to the competent authority for certification of use of land. An application is submitted, describing in detail the requested use, as specified by the applicable health legislation, and a map is attached (Google Maps excerpt) describing the streets surrounding the building block to which the building belongs.
Application for a certificate of residence at the relevant municipal office. An application is submitted by the interested party or their legally authorized representative, attaching the land use certificate and the apartment building regulations (which must allow the requested use). If there are no regulations, a sworn statement from the administrator is submitted stating that there are no regulations and that the requested use is permitted.

C. AFTER THE ISSUANCE OF THE INSTALLATION CERTIFICATE

Issuance of a Fire Safety Certificate by the relevant Fire Department.
Payment of a fee to the Municipality’s Financial Services Department, after verification that the applicant has no outstanding debts.
Issuance of a permit for the use of public space, if required by the needs of the business.
Issuing a permit to extend music hours, if required by the needs of the business.
Issuance of a license for the use of natural gas, if required by the needs of the business.
Compilation of a diagram of the flow of the business.
Notification using Taxisnet codes.
