Question:

I have noticed that IN THE EVENT OF A CHANGE OF USE, depending on the surface area of a store, the parking space requirement changes from: parking space required to parking space not required, and vice versa. Have you looked into this issue?

Answer:

Here are some INTERESTING EXAMPLES OF PARKING SPACE CALCULATIONS.

Variations in conditions: parking space required, parking space not required from 0 to 100 m2

1. E < 20 m2
We have a new use: 19.9 /40 = 0.4975 < 0.5, therefore 0 positions
Old use: 19.9/60 = 0.34 < 0.5, therefore 0 spaces
Therefore, for E < 20 m2, no parking space is required.

2. E < 30 m2
We have new usage: 29.5/40 = 0.74 so 1 position
Old use: 29.5/60 < 0.5 so 0 positions
Therefore for E < 30 m2 and E > 20 m2 required space parking.

3. E > 30 m2
We have new usage: 30/40 = 0.75 = 1 position
Old use: 30/60 = 0.50 = 1 position
Therefore for E > 30m2 and E < 59.99 m2 no required parking space.

4. E >= 60 m2 and E < 90 m2
We have new use: 60/40 = 1.5 = 2 positions
Old use: 60/60 = 1 position

5. E >= 90 m2 and E < 99.99 m2
We have new usage: 90/40 = 2.25 = 2 positions
Old use: 90/60 = 1.50 = 2 positions
Therefore for E > = 90 m2 and E < 99.99 m2 no parking space is required.

6. E => 100 m2
We have a new use: 100/40 = 2.50 = 3 positions
Old use: 100/60 = 1.67 = 2 positions
Therefore, one position is required for redemption.
