Useful tips to prevent mold in your vacation home

The presence of mold and fungi, combined with the strong smell of dampness that it entails, often disrupts the atmosphere of our space. Beyond the aesthetic aspect, mold causes various health problems, mainly related to the respiratory system. It is advisable to eliminate and avoid it.

Easy solutions for preventing fungus growth are as follows:

1. Frequent ventilation of the space. If it is a holiday home where you cannot stay on a permanent basis, we recommend installing ventilation with an automatic humidistat. This will refresh the atmosphere and reduce relative humidity whenever necessary.
2. Removal of furniture by a few centimeters from the walls in order to create a current of air behind them.
3. Removal of part of the gaskets from the frames to create air circulation.
