1. Distances of basements from building boundaries

a. Paragraph 6θ, Article 11, N.O.K.

If the study does not provide for the required parking spaces on the first basement floor of these plots, all basement floors may be extended up to 80% of the mandatory uncovered space.

 

In this case, parking spaces not provided for in the study may be purchased, up to a maximum of 15% of the total number of spaces required.

 

On plots larger than 600 square meters, basements may be extended beyond the building’s footprint by up to 50% of the mandatory uncovered area.

 

In this case, parking spaces may not be purchased.

Basement extensions may only be used for the auxiliary purposes described in Article 11.

 

The basement extension may include parking spaces, residential storage rooms, special-purpose storage rooms, boiler rooms and machine rooms, mechanical installations necessary for the operation of the building’s energy design, for water management and conservation, RES, CHP, water tanks or sewage collection tanks or swimming pools.
