The Joint Ministerial Decision concerning the three-month extension of Law 4178/2013 “Addressing Arbitrary Construction – Environmental Balance and other provisions” has been published.
In detail, the Joint Ministerial Decision states the following:
Extension of the deadline for inclusion in Law 4178/2013 “Addressing the Arbitrary Construction Environmental Balance and other provisions” (Government Gazette A/174) and amendment of No. 2254/30-9-2013 decision Deputy Minister of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change “Procedure for the electronic submission of the necessary supporting documents for a36> the inclusion in Article 24 of Law 4178/2013 “Addressing the Arbitrary Construction Environmental Balance and other provisions” (Government Gazette 174/A’).” (Government Gazette B/2184), as in force
THE MINISTERS OF FINANCE – OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND OF ENERGY
Taking into account:
1. Article 90 of the Code of Legislation for the Government and Government Agencies, ratified by Article 1 of Presidential Decree 63/2005 (Government Gazette A/1998).
2. Presidential Decree No. 70/22-9-2015 “Reestablishment of the Ministries of Culture and Sports, Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, Rural Development and Food. Reestablishment of the Ministry of Shipping and the Aegean and renaming it the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy. Renaming of the Ministry of Culture, Education, and Religious Affairs to the Ministry of Education, Research, and Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Maritime Affairs and Tourism to the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, and the Ministry of Productive Reconstruction, Environment and Energy to the Ministry of Environment and Energy. 11. Decision No. 2254/30.8.2013 of the Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy, and Climate Change “Procedure for the electronic submission of the necessary supporting documents for inclusion in Article 24 of Law 4178/2013 “Addressing Arbitrary Construction, Environmental Balance and other provisions” (Government Gazette 174/A).” (Government Gazette B/2184), as amended by Decision No. 22268/29.4.2014 of the Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change “Amendment of No. 2254/30.8.2013 (B’/2184)….” (Government Gazette B’/1289).
12. Given that the provisions of this decision do not incur any expense to the state budget, we hereby decide:
Article 1
The deadline for compliance with the provisions of Law 4178/2013 “Addressing Arbitrary Construction, Environmental Balance, and Other Provisions” (A’/174), for categories 1, 2, 4, and 5 of Article 9 of Law 4178/2013, is extended for three (3) months from the expiry of the deadline provided for in Article 28 of Law 4178/2013, as amended and in force, i.e. it expires on 8 May 2017, after a total of forty-five (45) months from the publication of Law 4178/2013.
Article 2
This decision shall enter into force upon its publication in the Government Gazette. This decision shall be published in the Government Gazette.
