In preparation for the Ministry of Environment and Energy’s resumption of the program, Mr. Skrekas signed a call for expressions of interest, through a list-based procedure, for the implementation of the project “Support for the operation of the Information System of the Ministry of Environment and Energy’s residential energy upgrade subsidy program.”
Essentially, the purpose of the call for tenders sent to three companies, “GNOMON INFORMATICS S.A.,” “DRAXIS ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES S.A.,” and “EUROSYMBOULOI SA DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANTS,” is to support the operation and supervision of the Information System of the energy upgrade subsidy program (2nd cycle “Home Energy Saving II” and “Save-Become Independent”), which is owned by the Ministry of Environment and Energy (YPE) – NSRF Executive Structure, Energy Sector.
A key point in the invitation where the current schedule of the Ministry of Environment and Energy is photographed is the deadline for completion of the project by the contractor, which is September 30, 2021. Specifically, the contractor will implement all necessary actions and improvements to ensure that the information system is operational in order to manage the Program’s applications. It will also undertake to support and maintain a guaranteed level of service (SLA) for the active cycles of electronic submission and monitoring of program applications, from the start of the contract until September 30, 2021. It should be noted that the services relate to the software developed for the Home Energy Saving II and Energy Saving-Autonomy Programs and not to the infrastructure (hardware and software such as databases, Windows Server, etc.) in the G-Cloud.
Support and maintenance services include, but are not limited to, the following:
Error corrections
Answering questions and providing support
Assistance in searching for information
Requests for data processing and report generation
Optimization of the software, where possible with minor interventions, to improve responsiveness by modifying existing functionalities
Finally, it is worth noting that the project will be implemented through the following deliverables:
1st Report by the Contractor, corresponding to the period of one month from the signing of the contract, which will describe separately for the Second Cycle of the Home Energy Saving II Program and for the Energy Saving – Autonomy Program, the maintenance of the information system, as well as all modification and support actions that will have been provided.
2nd Contractor’s Report, corresponding to the period of one month from the completion of the 1st Deliverable, which will describe separately for the 2nd Cycle of the Home Energy Saving II Program and for the Energy Saving – Autonomy Program, the maintenance of the information system, as well as all modification and support actions that will have been provided.
3rd Contractor’s Report corresponding to the period from the completion of the 2nd Deliverable until the end of the contract, which will describe separately for each active cycle of the Program the maintenance of the information system as well as all modification and support actions that will have been provided.
