Three-month postponement for NOK

Three months after its adoption, the New Building Regulations will come into force, as stated by the Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Mr. Nikos Sifounakis, to ered.gr. This decision was taken following a cross-party request, while the implementation of the law on the new procedure for issuing building permits will also be postponed for three months.

Today, the debate and vote on the principle of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change’s bill on the New Building Regulations was completed. PASOK, New Democracy, and LAOS voted in favor, while MPs from the Communist Party, SYRIZA, and the Democratic Left voted against it.
