{"id":405876,"date":"2026-01-29T11:06:26","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T09:06:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cityengineering.gr\/texnikes_eidhseis\/11-04-2012-decisions-on-illegal-buildings-to-be-made-in-june\/"},"modified":"2026-02-14T14:29:25","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T08:41:08","slug":"11-04-2012-decisions-on-illegal-buildings-to-be-made-in-june","status":"publish","type":"texnikes_eidhseis","link":"https:\/\/www.cityengineering.gr\/en\/texnikes_eidhseis\/11-04-2012-decisions-on-illegal-buildings-to-be-made-in-june\/","title":{"rendered":"11-04-2012 Decisions on illegal buildings to be made in June"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row type=&#8221;vc_default&#8221; el_id=&#8221;eidhseis-tile&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]11-04-2012 Decisions on illegal buildings to be made in June[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;vc_default&#8221; el_id=&#8221;eidhseis-img&#8221;][vc_column][vc_single_image source=&#8221;featured_image&#8221; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;vc_default&#8221; el_id=&#8221;eidhseis-text&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>In early June, the Plenary Session of the Council of State will discuss the constitutionality or otherwise of legalizing unauthorized buildings with &#8220;private documents&#8221; and &#8220;a responsible statement by the owner, accompanied by an engineer&#8217;s technical report,&#8221; as provided for in Laws 4030\/2011 and 4024\/2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that in early April, the Plenary Session of the Council of State &#8220;froze&#8221; the legalization of unauthorized buildings that were not supported by aerial photographs and public documents, as it was ruled that the owners of unauthorized buildings, in order to prove the time of completion of the construction of the property, along with the responsible statement they submit, must provide &#8220;public documents or aerial photographs&#8221; proving the time of completion of the unauthorized construction, as provided for in the original Law 4014\/2011 (Article 24) on the legalization of unauthorized constructions.<\/p>\n<p>The Council of State is expected to rule on cases involving owners of unauthorized buildings who have submitted applications for regularization based on private documents. It is possible that it will demand the return of the relevant file, as well as any fees and fines that may have been paid.
