A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE NOTIFICATION OF THE OPERATION OF AUTOMATIC FOOD AND BEVERAGE DISPENSING MACHINES (VENDING MACHINES)
Documents for which you need the assistance of an engineer:

Three (3) blueprints (prototypes), certified by an engineer, showing the floor plan of the vending machine installation site. Scale 1:50. In the case of a company, the company’s articles of association must also be submitted in the Government Gazette for S.A. or E.P.E. or certified by the court of first instance for O.E. or E.E. (the service has the option of conducting an ex officio search).
Other supporting documents of general content:

Application when the licence is issued in the name of a natural person or company representative. Applications may also be submitted by third parties legally authorised for this purpose.

Store operating license or feasibility license, depending on the location of the vending machine (certified copy).

Declaration of conformity (C.E.) from a certified company.

Certification from the competent authority of the country of origin for the specific machine or from the company that manufactured the machine in question.

Manufacturers’ certification of the conformity of machines with the essential requirements for food supply.

Photocopy of police identity card or other document from the provisions of paragraph.4 of article. 3 of N/2690/1999 (or the relevant provisional certificate of the competent authority or the passport or the license driving or the personal health card of all the insurance institutions) or residence permit for for independence economic activity if the interested party is a national of a foreign country that is not a member foreign country not a member of the EU or special identity card of a compatriot or consular visa passport for repatriation for their compatriots or residence permit for their them citizens of a foreign country that is a member of the EU.

Certificate of commencement or change of operations at the competent tax office.

Consent of the operator or person responsible for the area where the machine is installed.

Certificate of no outstanding debts.
Procedure:
The above supporting documents are forwarded to the Directorate of Environmental Hygiene and Health Control P.E.K. & N. Athens Sector, Health Control Department in order to verify that the machine meets all the basic health and safety requirements of European Union Regulations.
